Me, Myself, and I
I was born and raised in Alabama. I am passionate about perfecting personal expression through photography, fiction writing, and multimedia art.
I discovered my love for writing at a young age, shortly after reading The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. Since then, I’ve been writing poetry and short stories. I am excited to submit my poetry for your consideration. My writing is deeply rooted in personal experiences, with my poetry often serving as a diary of the emotions and challenges I’ve faced. It reflects my journey—growing up Catholic in the Bible Belt of Alabama, navigating my queerness in a conservative environment, and blooming into young adulthood.
My short story, “Joan of Las Vegas,” is set to be published in the Sucarnochee Review 2025.

“To the hard of hearing, you shout, and for the almost-blind, you draw large and startling figures,” ― Flannery O’Connor
“Perhaps they were right putting love into books. Perhaps it could not live anywhere else.” ―
